So for this look, I went with a brown crease and a pop of color on the lower lashline. Of course, this purple could be swapped out for any color: blue, green, you name it! The lower lashline is one of my favorite places to incorporate color. If you are afraid of color, try applying some to the lower lashline.
Shall we talk about the products now?
On the eyes: Coastal Scents Revealed 3 palette
On the face: Milani Blush in Luminoso
Nyx Illuminator in Ritualistic
(Not pictured) NYC Sunny Bronzer
On the lips: Rimmel lipliner in Spice
Wet 'n' Wild lipstick in Bare It All
- To begin, I took the brown shade marked with the red heart and put that in my crease with a fluffy brush.
- Since my eyeshadow primer creates a nice cream base, that is all I did for the lid, but you could always go in with that cream shade and apply that on the lid and browbone.
- Next, I took the purple marked with the white heart and applied that to the lower lashline with a flat liner brush. You can build that up to your desired intensity.
- If the edges of that are too harsh, you can go over it with that brown shade to blend it out.
- Lastly I applied mascara and also added Ardell Wispies.
That is it for this eye look. Simple right? It perfect when you want something quick and easy but still a little more that a basic neutral eye. I love using purple because it makes my brown eyes pop!
Don't be afraid of color! Like I said before, the lower lashline is one of my favorite places for a pop of color. Try it out and let me know what you think! Use our hashtag #yandymakeupdiaries on Instagram so we can see!
